Food Donation Network

Team 1676 is committed to addressing community needs through our robust Food Donation Network. This initiative encompasses annual food drives, ongoing food collection, and partnerships with local food pantries to ensure that our efforts have a significant and sustained impact.

Comprehensive Food Collection and Distribution

Our network includes strategically placed food collection bins at two major supermarkets in our area—Shoprite and Kings. These bins are regularly monitored and replenished by our team members, facilitating continuous community contributions. The collected items are then delivered to two primary local organizations: the Tri-Boro Food Pantry and Helping Hand Food Pantry.

Impact and Outreach

Annually, our food drives and collection efforts significantly bolster the pantries’ capabilities to serve the community. Here are some highlights of our impact:

  • Over 2,000 pounds of food collected annually.
  • Approximately 500 families served each year through the pantries.
  • Regular engagement from the community at collection points, enhancing awareness and participation in solving local hunger.
