Prescription Medicine Bottle Recycling Drive

The Pascack Pi-oneers are beginning their first Prescription Medicine Bottle Recycling Drive from November 18 to December 18. Bottles can be dropped off at the following locations:

• Empty bottles will be collected at the following locations:

1. Montvale Borough Hall downstairs lobby
2. Woodcliff Lake Borough Hall lobby
3. Hillsdale Library
4. River Vale Library
5. Hillsdale ShopRite Food Donation Bins
6. Pascack Valley & Pascack Hills High Schools lobbies

• Why recycle prescription bottles?

1. The bottles take 20 – 30 years to degrade in a landfill
2. It conserves natural resources and energy needed to create new plastic, saves landfill space, and prevents microplastics from polluting our water and soil
