For the eighth year in a row, the Pi-oneers hosted and ran the FLL Bergen Brick Fest Qualifying Tournament at Pascack Hills High School. Over 25 teams competed; and more than 160 teams have benefited from the tournament. With the help of team members and FIRST volunteers, the event continues to prosper and be a successful, inspiring day. Each year, many members of the community attend to support their local teams and to learn more about FIRST and the Pascack Pi-oneers. Through the tournament, team members connected with the FLL team from the Washington STEM Club in Ridgewood who now host a FIRST Expo at their school. The Pi-oneers partnered with them for three years, providing mentoring for event organization, media planning and design, and provided materials and robot demonstrations for the event.
