Minute Movements

Just one minute of movement can actually boost your health. Researchers from McMaster University in Ontario proved that a mere 60 seconds of intense exercise can increase endurance capacity and lower blood pressure. Working out actually increases our production of mitochondria, the energy powerhouses of our cells.

Some easy ways to get in motion might include any of the following:

  • Run three flights of stairs

  • Static and dynamic stretching

  • Lunges and squats

  • High knees

  • Jumping jacks

  • Sit-ups

  • Progression pushups
